About Us

Based in Charlotte, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving senior small dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, medically fragile, or placed on euthanasia lists in high-kill shelters.

We believe every dog deserves safety, comfort, and love — especially in their senior years.

Our mission focuses on rescuing the dogs most often overlooked: older small-breed dogs facing euthanasia due to age, medical conditions, or lack of shelter space. Many of the dogs we save arrive with serious medical needs, requiring immediate veterinary care, rehabilitation, and compassionate foster homes. These are the dogs who may otherwise never get a second chance.

Through the support of our community, fosters, adopters, and donors, we provide lifesaving medical treatment, nourishment, and loving care while helping each dog find the safe and peaceful future they deserve.

At the heart of our rescue is a simple belief: senior dogs still have so much love left to give.

Every rescue matters. Every life matters. Every senior deserves a chance.

I adopted two wonderful dogs, Lily and Bonnie, from Molly’s Mission, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Both dogs had all of their vet care completed before adoption, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed how much the rescue truly cares about their animals.
The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. It’s clear that Molly’s Mission is dedicated to giving senior dogs the love and second chance they deserve.
I’ve had my dogs from Molly’s Mission for quite some time now, and they have brought so much joy into my life. I’m so grateful for this rescue and highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt.
