Submitting an application for a specific dog does
not guarantee approval for that dog. Our priority is
finding the best possible match between each dog and their adopter.

What Is the Adoption Process?

  1. To submit an adoption application click here
  2. Reference checks:
Molly’s Mission will complete personal and veterinary references. If you have current pets, they must be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and current on monthly preventatives. We will contact your veterinarian to verify their records.
  3. Renters:
If you rent your home, please confirm with your landlord or leasing office that pets are permitted and ask about any breed, weight, or pet-limit restrictions.
  4. Application review:
Once your application has been reviewed, we’ll contact you to schedule a phone interview and home visit. During this process, we’ll discuss your lifestyle and help determine which of our available dogs may be the best fit.
  5. Meet & greet:
If you are approved, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet with you, the dog, and their foster family. Meet-and-greets are only scheduled after an applicant has been fully approved and are considered part of the final approval process.

I Live in an Apartment. Is That Okay?

Absolutely! Apartment or rental living is not generally a barrier to adoption. Some of our dogs do have specific requirements, but we’ll work with you to determine which dogs may be a good fit for your home.

For renters, we will verify with your landlord or leasing office that pets are permitted and check for any applicable breed, weight, or pet-limit restrictions.

What Is the Adoption Fee?

Our adoption fee is $300.

All Molly’s Mission Dogs Are:

Microchipped, current on monthly preventatives, and receive age-appropriate veterinary care before adoption.
